Health, Safety & Environment
Total Recordable
Incidence Rate (TRIR) is derived by multiplying the number of
recordable injuries by 200,000 and dividing this value by the total
man-hours. The TRIR formula allows us to compare safety performance
of companies and industries. The lower the TRIR number, the better
the performance indicator.
